Tottenham Hotspur vs Bayern Munich Preview

Tottenham will be looking to get their first Champions League win of the season against one of the competition’s toughest teams and this promises to be a cracker at the Tottenham Stadium.

The Lilywhites are having a tough start to the season.  They come here having won just three of their 9 competitive games this season.

They were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Colchester and struggled to beat Southampton at the weekend having gone a man down in the first half.

The only good thing about Spurs’ season is that their three wins have come at home and they will be hoping to be lucky again here to beat German Champions Bayern Munich.

Bayern have made a good start to their season. With the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Perisic bedding in well, they would be hoping to continue their impressive run of form against English oppositions, especially the London teams.

The Germans have won on 4 of the last 5 occasions they have visited a London team in Europe and they will be confident of getting another win here.

Bayern started their campaign this season with a 3-0 win over Red Star Belgrade while Spurs bottled a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 against Olympiakos in Greece.
