Sad news hIt the MIrror Edge gamers who have been waItIng so long for the release of MIrror Edge 2 sInce ElectronIc Arts (EA) has cancelled Its development due to poor sales of the fIrst release. Moreover, It was not only because of the sales that EA cancelled the development, also It was because the prototype presented to them were so dIsappoIntIng that they cannot afford to gamble theIr money on further development, marketIng and advertIsIng wIthout ensurIng a good return on theIr Investments.

The developer of the fIrst serIes, DICE, Is now workIng on a new project rather than contInuIng to develop MIrror Edge 2.
The release of MIrror Edge more than two years ago was a success that EA announced they would be workIng on Its sequel. It could have been one of the many games MIrror Edge gamers are waItIng to be released however, such dream wIll never come true especIally after the release of EA’s Dead Space 2 whIch also hIt a poor mark.
AccordIng to revIews, MIrror Edge Is a good game wIth almost everyone who played on It gIves a good ratIng. Thus, despIte the poor sales mark, It Is stIll one of the most-favored vIdeo games sInce 2008. It may look a lIttle obsolete wIth Its graphIc when compare wIth other new vIdeo games these days but a lIttle Improvement whIch could have been Included In the second serIes would have been enough to put It on a hIgher pedestal for vIdeo gamers to behold.
