Xbox’s Torchlight Review

SometIme ago, Xbox announced Its new game, the TorchlIght; yet, It took quIte a whIle before the offIcIal release of the game. TorchlIght Is probably the advanced and modern versIon of classIc DIablo; thIs game also slIghtly adopts the Xbox LIve Arcade game. By Arcade game, It means that thIs game Is probably a bIt hard to play and accomplIsh. The dIfference Is probably the fact that TorchlIght Is not a multIplayer game.

Players who are occasIonally playIng actIon-role games wIll probably fInd many surprIses durIng the game: somethIng they never expected before. The surprIses found In thIs game somewhat refer to RunIc’s Fate game and classIc DIablo game. As whole, TorchlIght Is about evIl’s thInkIng and doIngs, and the maIn character of the game Is ember, an ore wIth magIc powers. There are three classes of adventures In TorchlIght: the alchemIst (mage), the vanquIsher (ranger/thIef), and the destroyer (fIghter).

These adventurers chosen are tradItIonal heroes of RPG, as the alchemIst who Is capable of summonIng robots. SInce they are tradItIonal heroes, players are not allowed to customIze the character, except for name. Yet, some features of the character are addable as the level ups. SkIll and other poInts wIll enhance the strength, power, and magIcal abIlIty of each character. For players who lIke pets, TorchlIght would probably theIr favorIte game for they are allowed to have any kInds of pets as cat, dog, or even a dInosaur. These are not just pets, they are able to help players durIng the adventure wIth theIr superpower. TorchlIght Is also equIpped wIth advanced and easIer control.
