This game pits two French heavyweights together against eachother.
Both Lyon and AS Monaco have been impressive this season especially when it comes to scoring goals and this game has the making of a thriller written all over it.
Lyon have become specialists in drawing games having drawn four of their last five matches and losing the other to league leaders PSG.
They are also heavy conceders as they have conceded 13 goals in 8 games even though they have netted 17 themselves.
If they want to qualify for Europe come May they will have to start conceding less and winning more games.
Nabir Fekir seems to have stepped in well into the shoes left by Alexandre Lacazette as he has scored 5 goals this season.
They will need him to be on top of his game as the defending champions come to town here.
AS Monaco meanwhile have started to feel the loss of the stars that helped them win the league title last season.
Although they started the season well and it took them a while to receive their first loss, they have started struggling both domestically and in Europe.
They lost their last European game 3-0 at home to FC Porto and followed that up with another disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Montpelier in the league.
However, Radamel Falcao has rediscovered some of the form that made him the most feared attacker in the World at one point and he may help them get a result here.
