Bayern Munich vs Celtic Preview

Celtic brought themselves back into the mix for qualification to the next round with a win over Anderlecht on match day two but those hopes will likely be dashed if they lose in Bavaria here.

Bayern Munich lost their last Champions League game 3-0 at PSG which proved to be the last straw for Carlo Ancelotti who got the sack shortly after that match.

His sacking was a surprise as they have not made the worst start to their domestic league season and the season is still new.

They named Heynckes for the fourth time to try and work his magic after winning this trophy in 2013.

Bayern have one of the best players in Europe right now and they could turn on the style here.

Celtic are currently joint second with their host in this game and Brendan Rodgers’ side are coming into this game in confident mood after winning 3-0 away the last time out.

They have always struggled away from home in Europe and they will likely struggle here again as Bayern  look to showcase their newly found confidence.
