Following their record-equalling win in the Champions League on Tuesday, Jurgen Klopp takes his Liverpool team to Wembley as they look to continue their dominance over Tottenham.
Tottenham were impressive when they secured a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu in midweek with Mauricio Pochettino earning lots of praise from the Spanish media for his tactics.
The Lilywhites are currently unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions however there is serious concern over their worrying form at their temporary home Wembley.
Although they won their last game there 1-0 against Bournemouth, it was a rare victory and their first there this season.
Before that win, they lost to Chelsea and drew with Swansea and Burnley.
Liverpool will be heading into this game with so much confidence after their trashing of Maribor and they will be under less pressure to perform also.
That win means they are unbeaten in their last 5 matches including a draw at home to Manchester United last time out.
Liverpool have lost only one away game in the league this season and perhaps more importantly, they have not lost to Spurs in their last 10 meetings.
Phil Coutinho remains very influential for the Reds as he has scored in their last 2 away league games and could prove the difference in this game.
Mo Salah was also among the goals in midweek and he will look to continue his solid start to his Liverpool career in this game.
