Barcelona vs Sevilla FC Preview

This should be Sevilla’s toughest away day for the first half of the season and they will look to build on their newly found winning form when they travel to the Nou Camp.

Barcelona started the season very well but injuries have curtailed their progress this season and they look to be in for a poor run of form.

In their last four games they have netted more than two goals in just one match.

They were disappointing as they were held by Olympiakos in their last Champions League game and Ernesto Valverde will be desperate for them to return to winning ways as soon as possible.

The Catalans’ success has been helped greatly by their solidity at the back and they will likely shut out Sevilla here once again.

Sevilla come into this off the back of a three match winning streak and they will be confident that they can inflict the first home defeat of the season on Barcelona.

They secured narrow wins over Leganes and Spartak Moscow in their last two games and they will be looking for another scrappy win here again.

With Barcelona struggling and Sevilla on a revival, both teams look likely to score in this game although it will easier said than done for Sevilla to win here against a Barce side looking to start a run of form.
