VfL Wolfsburg vs RB Leipzig Preview

VFL Wolfsburg will be the next stern test that RB Leipzig face as they continue to struggle with European and domestic commitments this season.

VFL Wolfsburg have not been outstanding this season but they are gradually climbing their way up the league table with draws.

They have won just three games all season but they have drawn 9 of their 15 league games so far.

At home they could be unbeatable as Borussia Dortmund remains the only side to have won against them at the Volkswagen Arena this season and that was at the beginning of the season.

RB Leipzig on the other hand have been gradually losing grounds on the title race and enter this game with an eight points deficit on Bayern Munich.

Although they are currently second in the league table, their recent 2-2 draw against Mainz means they have gone three league games without a win.

They will also fear for their position inside the top two with the likes of Schalke 04, Leverkusen and Gladbach breathing down their neck.

They have a four points cushion ahead of those behind them and they will be looking to win this game and give themselves some breathing space.
