West Ham United vs Arsenal Preview

After their shock win over Chelsea last Saturday, West Ham will be quietly confident ahead of another derby here with a top six club.

Their win over the defending Champions was their first win under their new manager David Moyes.

They still remain in the drop zone and that is in part due to the terrible start they made to this new season.

Their major problem was their defence which was constantly conceding goals but the way they kept out Hazard, Morata, Willian, and Co. in that derby win would have delighted both Moyes and their fans.

Arsenal have been under-par of late.

They lost their home unbeaten run to Manchester United two weekend’s back and failed to follow up that result with another win as they needed an Olivier Giroud goal off the bench to secure a point against Southampton in their last league game.

That draw meant they are just one point above their North London rivals, Tottenham and they failed to close the gap on fellow top four hopefuls who also had a bad weekend.

Arsenal have netted at least three goals in their last three meetings with the Hammers and will need to be on their best to break David Moyes’ sides defence here.
