Italy vs Poland Preview

Italy are crying out for a rebuild after they disastrously failed to qualify for the last World Cup, and the man they have tasked to take them to the top of World football once again is Roberto Mancini.

The former Manchester City man has started his reign with one win, one loss, and one draw from his first three games in charge.

Losing to France who went on to win the World Cup shouldn’t be hard to take however he needs to get his new look team performing well in this Nations League campaign.

Poland established themselves as one of Europe’s best attacking sides in their 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign and the Italian league has provided them with some of their best players.

We all know Robert Lewandoski is top class but the early season form of Piotr Zielinski and Arkadiusz Milik for Napoli in the early weeks of the season has been solid, while Genoa seem to have unearthed a new attacking gem in Krzysztof Piatek who has netted three times in the Serie A already this season.
