Girona will be looking to build on their 2-1 win over Real Madrid last weekend after they finally ended a run of 6 consecutive losses.

That win was also the first time they won a game after 13 attempts and that has helped them steer clear of the relegation zone for now.

Girona haven’t won a game at home since December and this has been one of the reasons they are closer to the relegation zone than to the top half of the league table.

They lost their last home league game 2-0 against Huesca which was a shocking result and we expect that to motivate them to go for the win here.

Sociedad have had more problems winning away from home but still come here unbeaten in their last 3 away games in all competitions despite also playing the in-form Valencia.

Only one win has come out of the last three head to head between these sides and it was a comprehensive 5-0 win for Sociedad last April.

Bookmakers have priced Girona up as slight favourites to come out on top in this game.

Goal markets point to a low-scoring affair as under 2.5 goals is currently trading odds-on.
