Valencia vs Real Betis Preview

Valencia should feel that they already have the advantage as these two sides meet to try and reach the final of this season’s Copa del Rey.

The first leg of this game ended in a 2-2 draw after two late goals from Valencia, and Los Che should be full of confidence in front of their home fans here with 2 away goals in the bag.

The hosts haven’t lost any of their last 9 games in all competitions.  If not for a late equalizer in their last game against Leganes they could have snatched all three points so they don’t come into this game in bad shape.

Real Betis will be feeling hard done by after they surrendered a two-goals lead to draw the first leg of this game.

Betis were winless in their five previous matches before they faced Valladolid at the weekend where they ended up 2-0 winners away from home.

That victory would have boosted their morale ahead of this game, however, Valencia remain a tough side to beat at home and the visitors may be in for a tough time here.

Betis’ major problem is shutting teams out as they have been scoring goals that should be enough for them but they end up letting themselves down at the back.

Bookmakers believe Valencia will reach the final of this seasons Copa del Rey final as Valencia are currently odds-on to come out on top in this second leg.

Betis represent good value as outsiders however they are a difficult side to trust as their attacking play is superb at times while their defending can be woeful at times.

Goal markets are expecting a lively second leg as over 2.5 goals is currently trading odds-on while Kevin Gameiro and Moreno Rodrigo are joint favourites to score the opening goal of the game.
