Panama vs United States Preview

USA and Panama go head-to-head in what will be the best of the best in this group and fans expect Panama to give the USA a run for their money in this game.

Both of these sides have won their first two games of this competition with the USA only ahead on goal difference.

The USA come into this game after beating Trinidad and Tobago 6-0 in their last game to avenge the shock defeat that cost them a place at the last World Cup.

The USA have also been one of the most attacking teams at this competition and their fans will be expecting yet another scintillating attacking performance in this game, but Panama should pose a more serious threat to them.

Panama started their campaign with a 2-0 win over Trinidad and followed that up with a 4-2 win over Guyana to secure a place in the next round.  They would be keen to get a win here and get a favourable draw in the next round. 

Bookmakers have priced the United States up as strong odds-on favourites to come out on top in this game.

Goal markets are undecided as to the number of goals we will see as over 2.5 goals is currently trading dead even while Gyasi Zardes and Jozy Altidore are vying for favourtism in the first goalscorer market.
