Internazionale vs Juventus
Competition – Serie A
Stadium – Giuseppe Meazza
Date: 6th October 2019
Kick-off time – 19:45 GMT
Inter Milan host Juventus in arguably the biggest game in the Serie A this weekend.
With the arrival of Antonio Conte, Inter is threatening to end the reign of Juventus as the most dominant team in Italy.
Ahead of this game, Inter are currently top of the league table and the only team that still has their 100 percent record intact in the Serie A. The Nerazzurri have been dominant in some way but showed in midweek that they are also a vulnerable side.
After taking the lead in their Champions League game against Barcelona, they were beaten 2-1 and they will be keen to get back to winning ways in this game.
Apart from their two games in Europe this season, Conte’s men remain perfect, winning their 6 league games and keeping a clean sheet in 4 of those games.
Juventus have remained one of the biggest sides in Italy despite changing managers this summer. They come here 2nd in the league table and hot on the trail of Inter Milan.
They have maintained the core of the team that has dominated Italy over the past season and they will be looking to return to the top of the league table before the International break.
Juve beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in midweek to extend their winning run to four games and remain unbeaten in all competitions this season. This is arguably the biggest test to their title credentials this season and they will be keen to pass it and send out a message to the entire division.
This match gets underway at 19:45 BST.
