Liverpool welcome crisis club Arsenal back to Anfield for this Carabao Cup game as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
The Reds showed a winning mindset that they have become synonymous with on Sunday when they came from a goal down to beat Tottenham.
At some point in that game, Liverpool were almost two goals down, but at the end of the day, they came back and collected what can easily be said to be a deserved three points on the balance of play.
Liverpool can almost do no wrong at the moment. Ten games into the season and they haven’t lost a single game in the league and remain top of the lot 6 points ahead of their closest challengers.
The Reds have also beaten the Gunners at home this season, but this will be a different ball game with Jurgen Klopp prioritizing winning the league and Champions League over domestic cup competitions.
Arsenal on the other hand are struggling for form and events off the pitch has made the whole environment at the Emirates toxic.
The Gunners have one of the worst defencive records among the top ten sides in the division. While they have netted an average of 1.5 times per league game this season, they have also conceded an average of 1.4 goals per game.
They took a two-goal lead against Crystal Palace at the weekend at home, but they still ended up sharing the points in a 2-2 draw.
