Chelsea will be looking to avenge the 4-0 loss they suffered at the hands of Manchester United when both sides met at the start of the league season, while Manchester United will be looking to build on their recent away win against Norwich City.
Frank Lampard has enjoyed early success in his reign as Chelsea boss so far. The Blues started their campaign with a 4-0 loss at Manchester United and many would agree that there are few worse starts than that however the Blues have recovered well to come into this game in a fine run of form.
Since losing to Liverpool at home on the 22nd of September, Chelsea has won all 7 of their last seven games in all competitions. The most impressive of those wins would be their 0-1 win over Ajax in the Champions League last week.
Manchester United seem to be enjoying some kind of resurgence after the International break. They drew their first game after the break against Liverpool causing the Reds to drop their first points of the season.
They have gone on to win their last two games. With the return of Anthony Martial, they seem to now have an attacker that can help them take advantage of their solid defencive shape.
Manchester United have won two of their last three meetings against the Blues and have tasted defeat in just one of their last 5 meetings with the Blues.
