Aston Villa vs Leicester City

Competition – Crabao Cup (Semifinals)

Stadium –  Villa Park

Date: 28th January 2020

Kick-off time – 19:45 GMT

Aston Villa will be hoping they finish the job they did when they held Leicester City to a 1-1 in the first leg of this Carabao Cup semifinal.

The Foxes have been impressive under Brendan Rodgers this season as they push for a top-four finish, however, winning the Carabao Cup would be an even more impressive feat.

Aston Villa’s 1-1 draw in the first leg was an impressive feat because to get to this stage, they beat a young second string Liverpool side in the previous round who few gave a chance to.

The Villans have been inconsistent this season and they come here with just one win from their last five games in all competitions and four wins from their last ten games in all competitions however, Dean Smith’s side is unbeaten in their last two games and they will look to continue that run here.

Leicester City suffered a dip in form that saw them lose two consecutive games however they have won their last two games in the Premier League and FA Cup and they would be keen to reach the Carabao Cup final by winning this game.

The last time that Leicester City visited Villa, they beat the Villans 1-4 but this game promises to be tougher for the Foxes.
