Manchester City vs Manchester United

Competition – Crabao Cup (Semifinals)

Stadium – Etihad Stadium

Date: 29th January 2020

Kick-off time – 19:45 GMT

Manchester City will be looking to complete the good work they started in the first leg of this Carabao Cup semifinal.

The cityzens won the first leg 3-1 to make this return leg an easy one for them however they have lost at home to Manchester United this season so they shouldn’t underestimate the Red Devils.

Manchester United fielded their best team in their last competitive match against Tranmere and it paid off as they ran out 6-0 victors in that FA Cup tie.

That win was their first win in three games and it helped them bounce back from two consecutive losses against Liverpool and Burnley.

Since their 3-2 loss at Wolves last December, Manchester City has been in a fine run of form as they have won seven and lost none of the eight games that have followed and they would be looking to win the Carabao Cup for the third year running.

Manchester United’s win on their last visit to the Etihad was their first and only win in the last four head-to-heads between these teams.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be without so many of his top stars as injuries have ravaged his team but he will have to put out his best team for this game despite injury woes.
