SC Paderborn 07 vs Borussia Dortmund Preview

Borussia Dortmund may have missed the chance to stop Bayern Munich from winning yet another Bundesliga title after the league leaders beat them 1-0 in their last league game.

Lucien Favre’s side should however remain optimistic that Bayern will slip up somewhere else but they need to get back to winning ways as they visit Paderborn for this fixture.

Paderborn drew their last league game before the campaign was suspended and they have resumed with more of the same with two draws from their first two games back.

The hosts have looked solid at the back as they have conceded just one goal in their last three league games.

Dortmund is one of the competition’s best scorers and they come here with two wins from their last three games.  They have conceded one goal and kept two clean sheets in both of their wins and they would be keen to get back to winning ways in this game.

Jadon Sancho has started the last three games from the bench and it remains unclear if he will return to the starting XI for this game, but the Englishman remains one of the most important players at Dortmund with 14 goals and 16 assists in the league this season.
