FC Cologne vs RB Leipzig Preview

The Bundesliga continues behind closed doors with this game as FC Koln host RB Leipzig for a Monday night match.

The hosts have been in poor form and with away teams getting the better results when fans aren’t watching, they will be looking to stop Leipzig at all costs.

Koln are winless in their last four games – all of those matches have been in the league and since the restart they have lost one and drawn two of their three games.

However, they have to start getting wins or they could slide into the relegation battle sooner than they think.

Leipzig are currently occupying the fourth and final Champions League position in the German league table.

The title race is effectively over for them as Bayern Munich has pulled clear at the top, however, they face a serious battle for a return to the Champions League with Borussia Monchengladbach hot on their heels.

Timo Werner has been in fine form and although he didn’t score in his last game, the German has netted 24 times in the league already this season – he may be the one to watch in this game.
