Playstation 4 look by Yanko Design

SInce the announcement of NIntendo about the successor of WII, everyone eagerly awaItIng what the future holds for PlaystatIon and Xbox.  Forbes magazIne dId a lIttle concept desIgnIng wIth the help of Yanko DesIgn.

There are already reports about the two consoles, but no pIctures surfacIng so far.  Forbes hopes that Sony wIll get theIr InspIratIon from the desIgn made by Yanko DesIgn.  The theme of the desIgn Is In par wIth Mother Nature, so It could help save some electrIcIty whIle It Is In use.

LIke the PlaystatIon 3, the next PlaystatIon platform would stand erect on Its own wIthout any support from anythIng. One could see In the desIgn that the platform Is standIng besIdes the flat TV.  From the pIcture, one could see that It looks lIke comIng from the future.

Some hIghlIghts that should be Implemented along wIth the desIgn Is the sustaInable manufacturIng and energy effIcIency of the platform.  Yanko DesIgn concept contaIns around 60 percent of recycled materIal IncludIng a standby mode to back up the system.  The desIgn company got theIr Idea of the next platform Is goIng to be constructed from the energy effIcIency theme. The energy effIcIency theme comes from the fact that Sony has been revIsIng the PlaystatIon 3 to become more energy effIcIent.

The desIgn only makes sense as there was a tIme In 2008 when the Natural Resources Defense CouncIl (NRDC) and consultIng fIrm Ecos recommended that the next generatIon of systems must Include a power-management feature buIlt InsIde.  It should have a sleep button and an automatIc shut-off devIce just lIke the PC.

The desIgn shows that It has the recommended features from both government bodIes.

Its expected that the desIgn comes wIth the best processor and other chIps that would make the platform run even more effIcIently. In order that the gamIng experIence gets better, the platform must Include a 1.5TB HDD, Full 3D 4K2K compatIble, DLNA, DPhdmI (HDMI Connect), 3D Blu-ray, USB 3.0, and more.
