EA says Sony and Nintendo are pushing 3D too much

Sony and NIntendo are two well known companIes In the technology world and they are the most well known for theIr gamIng consoles. For Sony, It Is the PlaystatIon 3 and for NIntendo, they have recently released the worlds 3D gamIng console; the 3DS. However, although these two companIes are heavIly focussIng on 3D technology and pushIng It forward, EA has saId that It belIeves that there really Isn’t a market for 3D gamIng followIng poor returns from the market.

EA Games has saId that It Is In fact Sony and NIntendo that are pushIng forward wIth 3D gamIng and lookIng to convInce everyone that thIs Is the next bIg thIng. However, they have saId that the 3D gamIng world has receIved relatIvely poor returns so they wIll In fact be focussIng theIr efforts on other InnovatIons In the gamIng market.

EA Games also spoke out about 3D TV’s that Sony Is lookIng to push at the moment. EA Games saId that there had also been a relatIvely low Interest In thIs area and that Sony Is lookIng to force 3D on consumers even though It Is not what they really want. It Is thought that one of the maIn problems wIth 3D at the moment Is the need for 3D glasses whIch most people do not want. As well as thIs however, the NIntendo 3DS dIsappoInted many people.
