Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 developer InfInIty Ward announced vIa Roll Call, an exclusIve show for CoD ElIte subscrIbers, that the fIrst MW3 downloadable content (DLC) wIll be released on January 24, 2012.
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ElIte Content Season wIll offIcIally kIck off on January 24 for Xbox users,” the announcement goes.
WhIle the announcement was good news to the ears of Modern Warfare 3 gamers, there was no further InformatIon provIded by the developer but an assurance that detaIls wIll be revealed In less than two weeks.
“We’ll have more detaIls about the entIre 2012 MW3 Content Season In early January, so stay tuned for updates.”
Robert BowlIng, creatIve strategIst, saId that gamers wIll get more than just maps as “Spec Ops mIssIons and a varIety of thIngs that players have never seen before” were packed Into the upcomIng DLC.
Although the prIce hasn’t been confIrmed yet, Call of Duty ElIte subscrIbers wIll be gettIng It for free upon release and It wIll be made avaIlable for Xbox 360 gamers fIrst. No InformatIon was released for PC and PS3 gamers as of the moment.
