Cheltenham Festival 2013 Day Two Tips & Free Bet Offer

Day Two of the Cheltenham Festival continues on Wednesday after a fantastic opening day that saw Hurricane Fly win the Stan James Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy at odds of 13/8.  Racing was delayed by 30 minutes on day one and race five – The Glenfarclas Handicap Chase (Cross Country) was abandoned.  No announcement has been made regarding if/when this race will actually take place.  Ruby Walsh managed to win three times on the opening day with his rides Hurricane Fly, Quevega and Champagne Fever making him current top jockey.

Day two features the RSA chase and The Sportingbet Queen Mother Champion Chase.

RSA Chase:

Gamingtips Tip – Hadrian’s Approach e/w

Hadrian’s Approach may have problems jumping (fell twice in six starts) however he managed to finished a short-head behind Unioniste last time out & has always looked like a trier in his races.  Odds of 6/1 seem reasonable as an each-way play based on the fact that other than falling, he has been competitive at the business end of all of his races.

Sportingbet Queen Mother Champion Chase:

Gamingtips Tip – Sprinter Sacre

It’s very difficult to oppose Sprinter Sacre in this race.  Unbeaten in seven starts, defeating Cue Card in last years Arkle Chase at Cheltenham with seemingly just one horse to beat in this race – Sizing Europe.  Sizing Europe is an excellent jumper and loves to race from the front so it is possible we may see an upset however Sprinter Sacre has looked hugely impressive and is difficult to oppose although odds of 3/10 aren’t great.

Other tips/selections:

1:30 – Rival D’estruval

2:05 – Pont Alexandre

4:00 – Buck Magic

4:40 – Ptit Zig

5:15 – Regal Encore
