COD: Black ops FIrst strIke to be released In February
The fIrst expansIon pack of COD: Black Ops Is all set to be delIvered on 1st February 2011 wIth the publIsher ActIvIsIon BlIzzard and the developer Treyarch. It can be downloaded exclusIvely from the MIcrosoft’s lIve servIce for Xbox
ActIvIsIon has decIded to release FIrst StrIke as a tIme exclusIve by some persuasIon from MIcrosoft, possIbly by fInancIal mean. So the gamers usIng PC or Sony’s PlayStatIon 3 have to patIently waIt for the release of the expansIon of game next month.
It Is also hIghly possIble that DS and NIntendo WII wIll not get thIs expansIon. They wIll probably not get any update on the orIgInal game
BerlIn Wall, StadIum, Kowloon and DIscovery are four brand new multIplayer maps to be Included In the standard game mode. Also In the cooperatIve game mode a new map called AscensIon has also been Included. In the cooperatIve game mode Is a human versus zombIe game.
The head of COD’s tech development at Treyarch, Mr Mark LamIa saId “We’re commItted to supportIng Call of Duty: Black Ops fans wIth contInuous updates to the game and excItIng new content that wIll keep our communIty engaged.”
It Is speculated that there would be another DLC pack developed by Treyarch and would be released In 2011
Three packs for COD: World at War have already been shIpped and troubled InfInIty Ward would be delIvered wIth Modern Warfare 2.
COD: Black Ops Is one of the bestsellIng vIdeo game last year as was the Modern Warfare 2 whIch was released before It. A new game In thIs best sellIng serIes Is scheduled to be launched by ActIvIsIon durIng 2011.

im sorry but how can you think of extra game content when the actual game doesnt work properly.this is the best cod so far,or it would be if the ps-online side worked.3 hours and your lucky to get a match.come on guys christmas is over get it sorted.
Umm…the Wii version IS getting the First Strike pack in March. Pack is also include “Five” – the MP map missing from the Wii version & possibly some/all of the W@W zombie maps.
Treyarch is supporting the hell out of Black Ops Wii – 2 patches….PATCHES…so far
Steve, have you ever thought of your internet connection being bad? Maybe it isnt the playstation network, mine works great on my ps3.
get the freakin map pacs goin for the wii!! At least give us “five” and “ascension”.
It just goes to show that there are preferences for the xbox network. As if they aren’t making enough money already man people are greedy. People are willing to buy these products and don’t get the same treatment because of the type of console they have spent there hard urned money on. Which in this point in time they are lucky that we are still willing to buy when the economy is down. A friend of mine has had this expansion pack for a while now and new maps are awsome. Especially if you are boared with the same maps we have been playing with. But with all the problems and gliches there are with the game and the fact they haven’t put the new expansion pack for ps3 a lot of people are getting ticked off. All you have to do is listen to the gamers while they are playing and you would find out how many people feel about all of these issues. I have heard many times that people wouldn’t buy the next call of duty and would rather see another company put out a better game. Like the rumors of a new medal of honor coming out if they can get it finished. Another note my internet connection is not bad I have comcast highspeed and don’t have a problem with any of my other devices but lots of gliches while playing on ps network. The gliches are not limited to the ps3 I know that the xbox has quite a few problems too from experience playing on my friends console. If people are willing to spend the money the product that they buy should be fixed before it goes on the shelf like any other recalled product on the market but you can’t get your money back for this one or get it straightened out either.
