Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid Preview

Borussia Dortmund started their Champions League campaign in a damaging manner as they lost their opening game away to Tottenham on match day one.

They will be looking to pile more misery on holders Real Madrid who are struggling in their local league.

They were the better team at Wembley but Spurs did a good job of taking advantage of their defensive frailties to punish them.

They are no strangers to facing Real Madrid as they were drawn in the same group last season and the Germans finished ahead of the Los Merenges but Madrid had the last laugh as they won the trophy for the second consecutive season.
