Everton and Burnley Face off in this Friday night fixture after enjoying almost similar fortunes in their last Premier League game.
While Burnley laboured and were beaten 0-1 by Manchester City at their home, Everton were also struggling and ended their game against Crystal Palace goalless.
The Toffees brought in a new manager and invested heavily in their playing staff in the summer and their fans expected them to be playing in Europe next season but it hasn’t been plain sailing so far and they will be looking to get all three points here.
The Toffees are currently 9th in the league table with 50 points. They have just 3 points less than Wolves who are 7th and are occupying the final European place if Watford fail to win the FA Cup.
Burnley have flirted with relegation for much of this season but they come here having already secured the magic 40 points that should guarantee their safety in the English top flight.
They have nothing to play for in this game but they may attempt to spoil Everton’s party after failing to do that against Manchester City in their last Match Day.
Bookies have priced Everton up as strong odds-on favourites to come out on top in this game while goal markets point to a high-scoring game as over 2.5 goals is currently trading odds-on.
