Sevilla will be looking to get back to winning ways when they welcome Atletico Madrid for this game. The home side has been in fine form all season but saw their 3 game winning run come to an end when Valencia held them to a draw in their last league game.
Sevilla has been in fine form in front of their fans as they have won their last 5 games at home. Their fans would be expecting more of the same in this game but Atletico is on another level and it is guaranteed to be a tough night for them.
Atletico Madrid has always been solid at the back but even by their standards they have been very tough to beat recently. They were on a run of two straight wins before Lucas Perez scored an amazing goal for Alaves against them in their last game.
They would be keen to get back to winning ways here as they remain challengers for the league title. Atleti have built their season on a solid defence and they come into this game having conceded just twice in their last nine games.
Atleti haven’t been beaten by Sevilla since 2016 and both fixtures ended in a 1-1 scoreline last season.
