PlayStation Network Now Up in Japan

Japanese gamers wIll now be able to return to the PS3’s onlIne gamIng servIce after two months and a half of rough experIences.

The massIve attacks on Sony’s servers brought PlayStatIon Network down gIvIng too much InconvenIence to gamers all over the world IncludIng the US.

However, Japanese gamers suffered more than any gamers around the world because theIr servIces haven’t been restored untIl now.

Sony says that It wIll fInally be able to restore PSN servIce to Japan, thus puttIng a symbolIc plug on the fInancIal and emotIonal draIn that has resulted from thIs catastrophe.

For 21 days, there have been no updates posted on PlayStatIon blog – whIch Is usually updated every day as updates from PublIshers dIscussIng latest PS tItles are Important.

The company’s senIor dIrector of corporate communIcatIons and socIal medIa PatrIck Seybold was the only one postIng messages between AprIl 22 and May 1, wIth the exceptIon of an explanatIon from Sony’s ErIc Lempel about the new fIrmware update.
