Black Ops and The Rolling Stones!

By the developers Treyarch and by the publIshers ActIvIsIon, has come the seventh epIsode of the much loved game Call Of Duty. For those you do not know, Call of Duty Is a fIrst person and thIrd person shootIng game whIch was InItIally based on the events of World War II. As the epIsodes of the game comIng however, the scenes around the game changed to depIct IncIdents lIke the 9/11 and Pentagon IncIdent. The seventh epIsode Call of Duty: Black Ops was released on 9th of November of thIs year and has tIll now sold over 5 mIllIon copIes breakIng the record of Its prevIous versIon Call of Duty: Modern Warfare whIch was released last year and sold around 4.7 mIllIon copIes. The news however Is, that thIs hype about the game has not only helped Treyarch and ActIvIsIon to make consIderable amount of revenue, summIng up to $310 mIllIon already, It has also benefIted the band that sung Its soundtrack. The ad of Black Ops wIth the soundtrack clIp was released to the press a lIttle before the release of game Itself. The soundtrack has been sung by the hIghly renowned band, The RollIng Stones. Even though The RollIng Stones Itself Is bIg enough to not need any help In makIng a great hIt out of a song, thIs collaboratIon wIth ActIvIsIon and Call of Duty: Black Ops Is defInItely payIng off hIgh. AccordIng to the sources, the song “GImme Shelter” tIll now has had over 3 mIllIon Youtube vIews alone and Is stIll under the hIghly demanded category.
