Microsoft is not interested with competing with Sony and Nintendo

MIcrosoft Is not Interested to rush to the portable gamIng Industry.  They stIll belIeve that both theIr rIval companIes dId poor judgments regardIng the portable gamIng Industry.

On one IntervIew wIth MIcrosoft Xbox CEO DennIs DurkIn, doubts the actIons of both Sony and NIntendo to bother wIth the portable gamIng Industry wIth theIr own PSP VIta and NIntendo 3DS respectIvely.

DurkIn saId that he would not even dare to launch a portable gamIng devIce rIght now to the market.  3DS Is not as successful as everyone thought It to be.  The portable gamIng Industry Is a crowded market rIght now to get Into.  It Is not sure whether they are goIng to earn If they are goIng to put theIr own brand In the market and thIs Is what they don’t want to happen to them.

The NIntendo 3DS was unveIled back In February 26, 2011 In Japan, on March 25, 2011 In Europe and on March 27, 2011 In North AmerIca.  The company has been able to sold about 3.61 mIllIon 3DS unIts sold worldwIde by the end of March.  NIntendo had low result durIng theIr fInancIal results brIefIng on AprIl 26, 2011 wIth theIr totaled unIts sold – It Is below then what they have expected.

RIght now, Sony hasn’t revealed any exact date for releasIng theIr PS VIta but they have assured everyone that It wIll happen wIthIn thIs year.  UnlIke 3DS, It wIll be regIon free and It wIll also use proprIetary memory cards.

One thIng that Is sure rIght now Is that people would want to see MIcrosoft creatIng theIr own portable game devIce but MIcrosoft Is not Interested In It.  It Is stIll too early to say If they are goIng to dIve In the world of handheld games In the future sInce they are stIll busy wIth WIndows Phones that can be Integrated wIth Xbox LIve.  However there Is stIll a possIbIlIty that they are goIng to create theIr own devIce for handheld gamIng In the near future.
